Kansas opens their NCAA Tournament with a late game on Friday against Detroit.

The Detroit Titans finished third in the Horizon League during the regular season and lost to Valparaiso twice before redeeming themselves with an upset win in the Horizon League tournament final. For their efforts, they have received a No. 15 seed and the best No. 2 seed in the tournament, the Kansas Jayhawks.

This doesn't seem like a situation where the big 2-15 upset seems terribly likely, but they do have a couple of big seniors that shouldn't be completely overmatched by Thomas Robinson. Containing him, Tyshawn Taylor and the entire Jayhawks team seems like too tough of a task for Detroit, but crazier things have happened.

Game Date/Time: Friday, March 16, 9:57 p.m. ET

Venue: CenturyLink Center, Omaha, Nebraska

TV: truTV

Announcers: Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager
