NCAA Tournament 2012, San Diego State Vs. NC State: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

NC State is the underdog against San Diego State, but the Wolfpack have the talent to upset SDSU.

The way NCAA basketball has shifted in recent years has caused the NCAA Tournament to produce multiple matchups similar to Friday's game between the San Diego St. Aztecs and the N.C. State Wolfpack. One of the best mid-majors in the country in SDSU is the higher seed against a team that just got in off the bubble from a major conference. It's one of many such instances in the 2012 edition of the tournament.

NC State clinched their spot with an ACC Tournament win over Virginia. Mark Gottfried dips into his bench when necessary, but they're still pretty reliant on their top players. C.J. Leslie and Lorenzo Brown will be depended on to lead the Pack, but they're up against a tough matchup in a very athletic SDSU team.

Game Date/Time: Friday, March 16, 12:40 p.m. ET

Venue: Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio

TV: truTV

Announcers: Tim Brando, Mike Gminski and Otis Livingston
