USF meets Temple in a Second Round game on Friday. The matchup takes place in Nashville, with a start time of 9:50 p.m.

Temple and USF face off in the NCAA Tournament in an early preview of a future Big East matchup. USF had to play its way into the matchup with Temple, traveling to Dayton for a First Four game against Cal on Wednesday. Now the Bulls will head to Nashville, where a date with Temple in the Second Round awaits.

USF looked strong on Wednesday, holding Cal to just 13 points and never giving up control of the matchup. The result was an 11-point win that was never close, setting up the Bulls matchup with Temple.

The Owls have been off the court for seven days after a surprising loss to UMass in the Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinals. Prior to that, Temple hadn't played in six days, when it beat Fordham by 20 in its last regular season matchup. If nothing else, the Owls should be well-rested.

Here's the information for Friday's game.

Game time: 9:50 p.m. ET, or 30 minutes after Ohio-Michigan ends.

TV information: TNT
