Friday's 2012 NCAA Tournament second round game between the N.C. St. Wolfpack and the San Diego St. Aztecs has so far been one of the more exciting affairs of the tournament. Neither team has held more than a five-point lead in the first half, as the Wolfpack took a 33-29 lead into intermission. More importantly, the game has featured plenty of this:
Richard Howell leads the way for the Wolfpack, leading all scorers with 15 points on the day. Lorenzo Brown has done a stellar job as a distributor with five assists and zero turnovers to go with eight points. Jamaal Franklin paces the Aztecs with 13 points.
The two traded the lead six times during the half. N.C. State is outshooting San Diego State 50 percent to 37.9 percent from the field. The Aztecs have made three more 3-pointers, however, making up nine points from beyond the arc.
