Could the absolutely massive upset that the second round is lacking be in the works? The Norfolk St. Spartans are trying to pull it off. They're tied 38-38 with the Missouri Tigers at halftime, and even though Mizzou has the talent to pull away at any time in this one, there's nothing odd about the way this game is going. The stats aren't crazy at all; Norfolk State just looks like a bad matchup for the Tigers.
Norfolk St.'s star center Kyle O'Quinn is having a huge day with 14 points and six rebounds. He's 6-9 from the floor and the smaller, quicker Tigers don't have an answer for him unless they want to play Steve Moore way more than they should. On the other end, Norfolk St. doesn't have much of an answer for Marcus Denmon. He has 14 points, 12 of those on three-point shots.
