The Michigan State Spartans continue their NCAA Tournament campaign Sunday against the Saint Louis Billikens.
With no disrespect intended to the Saint Louis Billikens, a fantastic team with a great chance to advance to the Sweet Sixteen, Tom Izzo probably won't be too broken up that he does not have to face off against a team with the athleticism of Memphis. The Tigers would just not have been a terrific matchup for the Michigan State Spartans. On Sunday, they'll face the better team from the West Region's 8-9 matchup, but one that plays into their hands a bit better.
Michigan State was tested early on in their game against LIU Brooklyn, but the Spartans settled down and played some excellent basketball in the second half. Draymond Green put together a triple-double, and if he's at the top of his game, Michigan State can beat any team in the country.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, March 18, 2:45 p.m. ET
Venue: Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio
TV: CBS
