VIDEO: Rick Pitino Explains Karl Hess's Hearing Issues

Rick Pitino doesn't seem to be a fan of Karl Hess, and the feeling is probably mutual. Twice this year, Pitino has been tech'd by Hess, and both times were a bit ridiculous. On Saturday, Pitino was hit with a tech during a crucial moment of the game, and he certainly wasn't happy.

So he explained what happened after the game, referencing a previous, equally ridiculous technical. It's worth noting Saturday's tech was for "stepping out of the coaching box," which is a bit silly anyway.

Video after the jump.

And the transcript:

"It's the second time I've gotten a technical by that official. The first time, I yelled 'Kyle, Kyle would you get over the screen?' He thought I said Karl. In that game, I was just yelling at Peyton 'Why would you foul, he's falling down.' I'm yelling 'Why? Why? Why'd you foul? You're in foul trouble.' And he gave me a technical. I probably deserved it because, according to him, I was out of the box. I've gotten two Ts from him without ever yelling at an official."
