2012 NCAA Tournament, Ohio State Vs. Kansas: Jayhawks Coming Back In Final Four

Stay connected with SB Nation

Kansas ended the first half of its 2012 Final Four matchup with Ohio State by forcing a turnover and getting a layup to cut Ohio State's lead to single digits. The Jayhawks have built on that in the second half, going on an 8-2 run to begin the period and cutting Ohio State's lead to 36-33.

Thomas Robinson is finally waking up for the Jayhawks, and has a game-high 12 points. But Jeff Withey's defense is also spurring them: the lanky center has five blocks.

Ohio State, on the other hand, has gone cold, with Jared Sullinger and Deshaun Thomas, in particular, struggling. Sullinger is 3-for-13 from the field; Thomas is 3-for-10.
