Kansas has trailed for much of the 2012 Final Four's second game, but the Jayhawks have closed to within one point of Ohio State at 49-48 at the under-eight timeout in the second half, and they have Travis Releford to thank.
Releford has 11 points to Thomas Robinson's 15. But, Robinson's points have come on seven shots to Robinson's 14, and he's actually outrebounded his larger counterpart, six to five, and his steal-to-layup sequence brought the Jayhawks back within a point.
Ohio State's been able to stay ahead of Kansas because of William Buford's fine game. He has 15 points, leading the Buckeyes, and well ahead of Lenzelle Smith's 10.
