Feb 10, 2012 - Before the 2012 NFL Draft takes place, there are two important events for pro football scouts and evaluators. The first is the NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place from February 22-28 in Indianapolis.
The second event is a series of "pro day" workouts which are held at the home colleges of various prospects and potential draftees. This offers one last chance for NFL representatives to get an up-close-and-personal look at various notable candidates from each school.
Adam Schefter reported on Friday that the top two quarterbacks in this year's draft are both holding their pro day workouts on the same date. The perceived No. 1 overall draft pick and Heisman Trophy runner-up, Andrew Luck of the Stanford Cardinal will hold his pro day workout on Thursday, March 22.At the same time, Baylor Bears quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III will be showcasing his talents on his home field.
NFL evaluators will have to choose which quarterback they want one final look at.
