The NFL Combine is a place for NFL Draft prospects to confirm suspicions of NFL scouts in terms of actual size, strength, etc. Sometimes, though, the unfortunate injury occurs. The first injury for the 2012 NFL Combine was suffered by Iowa offensive tackle Markus Zusevics, who tore his pectoral muscle while doing the bench press.
Tough break for Iowa's Markus Zusevics. According to NFL Net tore his peck during bench press. Left Shrine week early too. Tweener player

Zusevics was not likely to be a high-round draft pick, but he was an interesting mid-round prospect that teams wanted to see work out. Now, with a pectoral injury it's unlikely Zusevics will get drafted or even play in the 2012 season.
