The NFL Combine has some awards inside the workouts, but they're just pride awards. Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe walked away with one of those awards, as he put up 44 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, leaving the NFL Combine as the "strongest man." Poe treated it like a competition too, "I'm doing everything," Poe said at the Combine. "It's just competition. I like it. I like it all. I've been working out for it and just thought it'd be a good idea to do it all."
Michigan center David Molk, who came up right behind Poe with 41 reps, said before the combine he planned to beat Stephen Paea's record from last year, which still stands at 49. BYU nose tackle Loni Fangupo was the next closest to the top two with 36 reps.
