One of the top tight ends in the 2012 NFL draft class can add a major blemish to his record. According to reports, Georgia TE Orson Charles was arrested for DUI early Thursday morning. He was arrested and booked at 4:31 a.m., Georgia's student newspaper reports.

The booking log for the Athens-Clarke County Police confirms Charles' arrest.

Of all the times to get arrested, six weeks before the NFL draft is close to the worst. The tight end class in the 2012 NFL draft wasn't great to begin with but Charles was considered by some to be the No. 1 tight end int he class. This could drop him below others, like Coby Fleener out of Stanford.

Charles is leaving Georgia as a junior for the NFL draft. He finished the 2011 season with 45 receptions for 574 yards and five touchdowns. He stands 6'3 and weighs 241 pounds.
