With the 52nd pick in SB Nation's 2012 NFL mock draft, the Tennessee Titans select Marshall DE Vinny Curry.
The Titans defensive line used to be great and with Curry they could be working their way back there. The Titans went defense with their first round pick in Alabama's Dre Kirkpatrick.
SB Nation's Music City Miracles explains the pick:
The Titans pass rush last season was horrible. They did add Kamerion Wimbley in free agency, but they still need a lot more help. Curry is one of those high motor guys that can come in and be a pass rushing specialist from the day he steps on the field. They will eventually want him to do more, but they will be perfectly happy if he can just come in this season and create some havoc on passing downs.
The Titans' front office would be thrilled to walk away with Dre Kirkpatrick in the first and Curry in the second. Kirkpatrick fills the hole left by Cortland Finnegan, and Curry gives them an instant threat to get after the quarterback.
