With the No. 12 overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected former Mississippi St. Bulldogs defensive tackle Fletcher Cox.
In his junior season in 2011, Cox led the Bulldogs with five sacks and picked up 56 tackles during the season. Cox was a starter for 2 1/2 years and helped his team to a pair of bowl wins over that time period. Cox is considered to be an incredible talent with an immense upside.
Cox was considered a potential top-25 pick in the months leading up to the draft and was considered by Mocking the Draft to be the No. 4 defensive tackle prospect available in this year's deep talent pool.
