With the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans selected former Baylor Bears wide receiver Kendall Wright. Wright was seen as the No. 3 wideout in most projections leading up to the draft.
Here is what Mocking the Draft has to say about Wright:
Final word: Wright while at Baylor, was known for his ability to get separation, his speed, and burst to consistently get open downfield. He had a very productive senior season, playing with 2012 Heisman Trophy winner QB Robert Griffin III, hauling in 101 receptions, 1,572 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Overall, he is a competitive, tough, and smart football player who sometimes wears his emotions on his sleeve. Wright's ability to get consistent separation with his speed and burst will likely get him drafted in the first round. He would be an ideal fit with the Houston Texans playing alongside of Andre Johnson.
