2012 NFL Draft Results: USC OT Matt Kalil Selected By Minnesota Vikings With 4th Pick

With the No. 4 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected USC Trojans offensive tackle Matt Kalil. Kalil is rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle and the No. 2 overall prospect, according to Mocking the Draft's rankings.

Kalil, brother of former USC and current Carolina Panthers lineman Ryan, has the pedigree for success in the NFL. Mocking the Draft, obviously, is quite high on Kalil's pro potential:

Final word: Kalil is an optimum left tackle prospect with quick feet, toughness, smarts and a frame that can get much bigger. Because of his size, Kalil may only be scratching the surface of how good he can be. Has the potential to be one of the NFL's top pass blockers early in his career.

How long until he is talked of in greater breath than his brother?
