NFL Draft Rumors: Bills Have 'Legitimate' Interest In Matt Kalil

The first day of the 2012 NFL Draft arrives on Thursday. The Buffalo Bills currently have good positioning in the first round, holding the No. 10 pick, but they may apparently be looking to trade up in the order in hopes of bagging their most desired target.

According to Mark Gaughan at BuffaloNews.com, the Bills have a "legitimate" interest in the top offensive tackle in the draft, Matt Kalil from the USC Trojans. Kalil is expected to go No. 3 in the draft to the Minnesota Vikings, but that could all change.

Charley Casserly of the NFL Network reported Wednesday night the Bills are willing to part with the No. 41 pick and flip first-round spots to move up.

The more one looks at the top of the draft board, the more it looks like the Bills have a good chance to move up, with the Vikings or someone else, to get Kalil.

Gaughan suggests that the Vikings, with the all-important No. 3 pick and a plethora of other NFL teams not wishing to miss out on their first-round targets, may be able to create a bidding war for the slot in the hours leading up to the opening round on Thursday night.
