In an NFL Draft feature on Thursday morning, I predicted the Philadelphia Eagles would be the team that makes a move in the 2012 NFL Draft that no one saw coming. Based on their history, the Eagles are a bit of a wild card in the NFL Draft.
There's a rumor out there supporting my idea that the Eagles will shake things up on draft night. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, rumors are circulating that the Eagles could trade up to the 11th pick in the draft if Ryan Tannehill remains on the board. The Chiefs hold the 11th pick and are said to have some interest in Tannehill. They're also said to have interest in trading back.
The Eagles currently have Michael Vick at quarterback but he's good for a few injuries each year so having a backup plan makes sense. Eagles coach Andy Reid also likes stockpiling quarterbacks because they're such a valuable commodity. Another rumor to keep an eye on.
