NFL Draft 2012: Bills GM Says Trade Up Is Unlikely

Stay connected with SB Nation

The first round of the 2012 NFL Draft will finally take place on Sunday. The Buffalo Bills are sitting pretty with the No. 10 pick overall, but some later rumors suggested that the team might be interested in trading up in the order.

Bills general manager Buddy Nix spoke to Chris Brown at the official Bills website and says he's unsure of how these rumors got started:

"I dont have any idea how that came up because there's no validity to it. We haven't expressed any interest in moving either way. Our answer every time has been we'll listen. "

Nix says that the team is willing to listen to any offers, but at present, they would be more likely to move down in the draft order, rather than up.
