It's the day of the NFL draft, so you know the rumors are coming out in full force. Earlier on Thursday, a report stated that the New England Patriots had contacted the Seattle Seahawks to talk about what it would take to move up to the 12th pick in the draft, which the Seahawks own. Calls like that are made often between teams in the lead up to the NFL draft, so it seemed plausible that it happened.
But the Patriots' Twitter account disputed with the report, which came from NFL Network's Albert Breer. The Pats tweeted: "The Patriots have not spoken w/ Seattle about moving up to the #12 pick."
Well, then.
The only way we'll find out will come when the Seahawks turn in the card when the 12th pick comes up.
