The Philadelphia Eagles are the latest team to trade up in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Eagles traded up from the 15th pick all the way to the 12th pick, which was owned by the Seattle Seahawks, and they plan to select Mississippi State's Fletcher Cox, one of the top defensive tackle in the draft. The Seahawks picked up the Eagles' fourth and sixth round pick as well.
Moving up three spots wound up being more expensive than a team in the Top 10 moving even higher, as the Jacksonville Jaguars gave up just a 4th round pick to move up two spots. But this gives the Eagles potentially one of the best defensive lines in the NFL, adding another young player who can rush the passer.
