Sure, it's fun to be at the draft, if only for the handshakes and hugs. The top prospects spend most of their time locked up in a green room, though, sweating out the picks as they wait for their name to be called. It's way more fun to just hang out at home, hosting a somewhat private draft party.
And every once in a while, the cameras catch an awesome moment. Whitney Mercilus had one of those moments, and I think a mosh pit broke out in his living room. It's pretty great.
"Guys ... guys ... settle. I'm on the phone." And the person on the other end of the line is now deaf in one ear.
