With the No. 47 pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Utah State Aggies inside linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner is ranked as the No. 3 middle linebacker by Mocking the Draft.

Wagner tallied 147 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and four sacks as a senior in 2011. He does have his fair share of strengths and weaknesses, according to Mocking the Draft:

Strengths: Had an incredibly productive career, and he held up well against top competition. Possesses a powerful frame. He closes in a hurry and does a nice job of getting off blocks. Doesn't get over-active, though, and overrun the play. Locates the ball quickly. Experienced inside and outside. Great straight-line speed. Four-year starter, two-time team captain.

Weaknesses: In pass coverage, Wagner reads the quarterback more than the wide receiver and the route and can get fooled. Isn’t overly fluid and has some trouble changing direction. While Wagner is certainly fast (4.46 40 at his pro day), he's a little stiff in the hips.

Seattle stunned even the experts in the first round when they picked Bruce Irving, a defensive end out of West Virginia.
