Thursday was the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. There were some big and definitely interesting moves by all four teams in the AFC East in the first round. Our team of analysts broke down each of the selections in the division and graded the picks, team by team.
The selection of quarterback Ryan Tannehill by the Miami Dolphins is a move that will likely be second-guessed all the way through the 2012 season, if not longer. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots quietly had an extremely promising night, trading up to finish with two first-round picks, both of which are very solid. While the New York Jets did not have the typical obvious first-round blunder for which they are famous, their selection still comes with question marks.
