The 2012 NFL Draft was full of moves and surprises in Thursday's first round. The four teams in the NFC West did not enter the fray until almost midway through the round, but each of the teams made strong additions.
The Arizona Cardinals may have had the best pick at No. 13 with Notre Dame Fighting Irish wide receiver Michael Floyd. The St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks were both able to trade down in the order and still get the targets they were after, picking up Michael Brockers and Bruce Irvin, respectively. While the San Franicsco 49ers made an unorthodox pick with A.J. Jenkins, the move gives them the wide receiver for the future that they were looking for.
