One of the surprises in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft is that three running backs ended up being selected. The common thought before the draft was that just one running back would be picked up in the first round -- Alabama's Trent Richardson. But the Bucs traded back into the first round to select Doug Martin at No. 31 and the Giants picked up David Wilson with the final pick in the first round.
Despite those two going in the first round, there's still plenty of running back talent available as we enter the second and third round. SB Nation's NFL Draft blog, Mocking The Draft, has six running backs remaining in its top 100 draft prospects.
39. Miami RB Lamar Miller
54. Temple RB Bernard Pierce
71. Washington RB Chris Polk
84. Utah State RB Robert Turpin
92. Oregon RB LaMichael James
97. Cincinnati RB Isaiah Pead
