On Saturday, while the 2012 NFL Draft was still in full swing, the Washington Redskins held a press conference to officially introduce new quarterback, reigning Heisman Trophy winner and No. 2 overall selection Robert Griffin III. The NFL Network televised the press conference -- kind of.
Griffin took to the stage and proudly presented his new jersey, before donning a Redskins cap -- with some slight difficulty.
Unfortunately, the feed cut out from the Redskins end almost immediately thereafter, so anything that Griffin had to say is likely lost to history.
What's that? Newspapers still exist? Well, good for them! Maybe we'll hear about the rest of this press conference someday after all! As soon as the pony express arrives with our physical mail am I right everyone?
It's unclear what may have caused the technical difficulties, but let's not rule out sabotage. Perhaps a fan of a rival team was able to cut the feed.
