2012 NFL Draft Results: New England Patriots Select Ohio State S Nate Ebner In The 6th Round

The New England Patriots drafted Ohio State safety Nate Ebner in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Ebner is the second safety to be drafted by the Patriots. It was a position of need for New England entering the draft. Bill Belichick's team selected Tavon Wilson, a safety from Illinois, in the second round.

Football is Ebner's second sport. He also plays rugby, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

197. New England Patriots: Ohio State S Nate Ebner, 6'0", 202 pounds

198: Baltimore Ravens: Miami WR Tommy Streeter, 6'5", 219 pounds

199: San Francisco 49ers: Western Oregon C Jason Slowey, 6'3", 303 pounds

200: Philadelphia Eagles: Miami OG Brandon Washington, 6'3", 320 pounds
