GM Jerry Reese and the New York Giants are one of the best drafting teams in the NFL, and they didn't disappoint on NFL Draft weekend. The Giants picked up Virginia Tech RB David Wilson with the final pick of the first round and then turned around and selected free-falling WR Rueben Randle, who some projected as a Round 1 selection.
The Giants won the Super Bowl last season, so they already have a strong roster. This draft class will provide depth at key positions. Parting ways with Brandon Jacobs will be easier to deal with now that Wilson is in house. Randle joins a talented receivers group that now gives Eli Manning another option. Giants TE Jake Ballard had an ACL tear in the Super Bowl, so drafting Cincinnati TE Adrien Robinson makes sense.
I'd give the Giants a high B for their efforts today.
