2012 NFL Draft Results: 2 Northwestern Alumni Drafted Nearly Back-To-Back In 7th Round

There's not much intrigue left once the seventh round really gets rolling, but fans in Evanston, Ill., have a little something to cheer about: two skill-position players from last year's Northwestern Wildcats were drafted in three picks. Tight end Drake Dunsmore and wide receiver Jeremy Ebert were key cogs to the WIldcats' 6-7 team last year, and they were drafted by the Buccaneers and Patriots, respectively.

233. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Northwestern TE Drake Dunsmore, 6'2", 241 pounds

234. New Orleans Saints: Nebraska OT Marcel Jones, 6'6", 320 pounds

235. New England Patriots: Northwestern WR Jeremy Ebert, 5'11", 200 pounds

236. Baltimore Ravens: Georgia DE Deangelo Tyson, 6'2", 315 pounds

237. San Francisco 49ers: Virginia DE Cam Johnson, 6'3" 268 pounds
