The Detroit Lions are already hard at work trying to lock up the players that they selected in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Sean Yuille at Pride of Detroit reports that the Lions have signed four of their draft picks. This makes five draft selections that Detroit has already been able to lock up, with all of their new players signing to four-year contracts.
Second-round pick Ryan Broyles, a wide receiver from Oklahoma, is the most notable name to have signed his contract with the Lions. The other names to sign are fourth-round selection Ronnell Lewis and fifth-round picks Tahir Whitehead and Chris Greenwood.
These four players join seventh-round pick Travis Lewis as members of the Lions' 2012 draft class to be officially under contract for the next four years.
