The New York Giants will have a lot of items on their plate during the run up to the 2012 football season. The Giants prepare to defend their NFL title while dealing with some key components leaving via free agency. The team is already beginning to work on their new roster additions by signing the players they selected in the 2012 NFL Draft.
According to ProFootballTalk, the Giants have signed their first round pick, running back David Wilson. Mike Garafolo at the Star-Ledger reports that the deal is for four years with a team option for a fifth season, and there will be a signing bonus of approximately $3.3 million.
Wilson was selected as the No. 32 overall pick, the final selection in the first round. Wilson was the ACC Player of the Year in 2011, his final year with the Virginia Tech Hokies.
