The Philadelphia Eagles came to terms with rookie quarterback Nick Foles on Monday morning, the team announced via Twitter.

Foles played his college football for the Arizona Wildcats and was a third-round selection by the Eagles, even after a disappointing senior season. He started 11 games in 2011, completing 69.1 percent of his passes while throwing an average 361.2 yards per game. He tossed 28 touchdowns and gave up 14 interceptions.

The Eagles now have a player to develop as a long-term backup, one who they can perhaps develop into an eventual starter when the Michael Vick era comes to a close.
