Kendall Reyes, Chargers Agree To Contract

The NFL's rookie wage scale has made the process of signing draft picks significantly easier. Already, the Seattle Seahawks have signed eight of their 10 draft picks, including Bruce Irvin, the only 1st round pick to sign at this point.

The latest draft pick to agree to a contract is one that comes in the 2nd round. Kendall Reyes, defensive tackle out of Connecticut, agreed to a deal with the San Diego Chargers, who made him the 49th pick in the draft.

Reyes was thought of a fringe 1st round pick in some circles. He's a 6'4", 299 pound defensive tackle that projects to a defensive end in the Chargers 3-4 defense.

Stephen Hill of the New York Jets and and Irvin with the Seahawks are the only players selected ahead of Reyes that have agreed to terms.
