Last week the St. Louis Rams signed their first-round pick, defensive tackle Michael Brockers. On Tuesday, according to multiple media outlets, they agreed to terms with another draft pick, wide receiver Brian Quick, the team's first pick in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft.
Quick comes from Appalachian State, which isn't exactly known for producing NFL stars, but head coach Jeff Fisher was impressed when watching him work out, as he said during the draft:
"He's a tall, athletic, talented receiver," Fisher said. "He's got great speed and impressive ball skills. He might not be a big name, but we believe he'll do some big things for us."
The Rams hope he can become the No. 1 receiver they've been lacking since Sam Bradford arrived.
