The Baltimore Ravens plan to cut wide receiver Lee Evans and cornerback Domonique Foxworth, according to Aaron Wilson.
It was previously reported that the Ravens will release Chris Carr, just one year after he signed a four-year contract extension.
Evans had finished his first season with the Ravens after six with the Buffalo Bills. He only had four receptions and 74 yards in nine games this season, by far the lowest output of his career. Evans had more than 1,000 yards receiving twice with the Bills. Over his career he has 381 receptions, 6,008 yards and 43 touchdowns.
Foxworth finished his third season with the Ravens. He only played in two games, garnering two tackles. He did not play in 2010 but played in all 16 games in 2009.
The team is clearing cap space but also letting go of players that just aren't performing as they used to.
