Peyton Manning Offered Contract 'For Life' By Tennesse Titans' Bud Adams

The Tennessee Titans have been in heavy pursuit of free agent quarterback Peyton Manning, hosting him for a visit on Wednesday. Titans owner Bud Adams has made it known that he wants Peyton Manning on the Titans by any means necessary, even reportedly offering Manning a contract "for life."

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams tells KHOU 11 Sports reporter Matt Musil that he has offered free agent quarterback Peyton Manning a contract "For Life" to stay in Tennessee.

I'm not sure what kind of money you can get for a "For Life" contract per year, or the kind of guaranteed money you can get. Adams also told KHOU 11 that he feels great about the team's chances to land Manning and all reports seem to indicate the race has come down to the Titans and the Denver Broncos.
