The free agency rumor mill is churning as we enter day two of Peyton Manning's free agency tour. Except, the tour hasn't gone anywhere. There are no official visits set up for Manning at the moment but there's a good chance there will be some interest in the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins are expected to be one of the teams in pursuit of Manning and Reggie Wayne, Manning's former teammate in Indy, thinks Miami makes a lot of sense, especially if he can come along for the ride. Via WQAM in Miami:
"I mean, I can see it and I'm definitely not opposed to it. He's a great worker and I consider myself a great worker, and when you put great workers together good things happen. So me being in his trail onto Miami? I would love it. I would definitely love it. I am totally available, my phone is working. Make sure you put that out there - my phone is working. I've paid my bills ahead of time just so we don't have no problems. So I am ready for anything that comes right now. So I can definitely see that in the mix also."
Manning throwing to Wayne and Brandon Marshall? With Reggie Bush coming out of the backfield? That makes a lot of sense. Right now, the Dolphins seem to have as good of a shot as anyone to land Manning. And it's been reported that Manning and Wayne wouldn't mind being a package deal.
Let's just wait for his first official visit, though. Check out the rest of Wayne's quotes at Sports Radio Interviews.
