Free agent quarterback Peyton Manning is still considering all of his options across the NFL, but the Denver Broncos have specifically been named as a team that contacted Manning's representatives earlier this week. Multiple teams have apparently contacted Manning's reps — including the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets — but now Mike Klis and Woody Paige of The Denver Post are reporting that Manning has the Broncos on his short list, and is in Denver to visit with members of the Broncos front office on Friday night.
The first day of free agency is March 13, and Manning would reportedly like to make a decision before that time. The move could have huge implications for the future of the franchise as well. There is also talk that Tim Tebow would be traded if Manning makes his way to Denver, so there are multiple levels of intrigue to the story.
