2012 Olympics - Cycling

Cycling at the 2012 Summer Olympics is comprised of four disciplines: BMX, mountain bike, road and track, with 500 athletes competing for 18 gold medals. Road and track cycling are two of the oldest sports in the Olympics, while BMX is making just its second appearance. Track will take place at the London Velodrome, the first venue completed for the 2012 Games.
