Super Bowl 2012: Patriots To Wear Blue Jerseys; Giants Wearing White Road Jerseys

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New York Giants and New England Patriots will meet in Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 after both teams were able to win on Championship Sunday. The two teams are playing on a neutral field at the Lucas Oil Dome in Indianapolis but, officially, the Patriots are designed as the home team and the Giants as the road team.

The Giants have announced via Twitter that they'll be wearing their white road jerseys in the game, which will give both teams the same jerseys as their 2008 Super Bowl matchup. The Patriots will wear their blue uniforms.

The Giants road uniforms have been good to them so far. They won two of their three playoff games on the road and Eli Manning set a new NFL record with five road playoff wins. Head coach Tom Coughlin is tied with Tom Landry with seven road playoff wins.
