On Sunday, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz put on a show in his team's NFC Championship Game victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The display of talent and athleticism got football fans talking and, it seems, spending.
The second-year wideout was a favorite first-half target for quarterback Eli Manning in the game. Cruz made 10 catches for 142 yards, many of them ridiculous highlight reel-type grabs.
According to Darren Rovell of CNBC, since the NFC Championship Game, Cruz's No. 80 Giants jerseys have been a hotter seller than Manning jerseys. The dazzling performance by Cruz has made him an immediate standout with the New York faithful and outsiders alike.
