The New England Patriots are in their final week of home practice sessions before heading to Indianapolis next week to prepare for Super Bowl XLVI. One of the major storylines in this week's practice concerns star tight end Rob Gronkowski, who injured his ankle in last Sunday's AFC Championship Game victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
According to the official Patriots injury report, Gronkowski once again did not participate in practice on Thursday. Gronkowski also missed the week's first practice on Wednesday. There are no other players who did not participate in practice either day, although plenty of Pats players on both days had limited practice.
Players limited in practice on both days included linebacker Brandon Spikes (ankle injury) and wide receiver Wes Welker (knee injury).
