The New York Giants held their Friday practice at their home field while continuing to tune up for Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis. The Giants appear to be a bit banged up this week, with some key players not participating in the Friday session.
Giants beat writer Mike Garafolo reported on Friday from the New York practice session via Twitter. He noted that wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (shoulder), cornerback Corey Webster (hamstring), linebacker Jacquian Williams (foot) and linebacker Will Blackmon (knee) were all out of action in Friday's session. He noted that Nicks was not even on the field. Running back Ahmad Bradshaw was throwing passes during individual practices and may have suited up for that.
All of the players who missed practice, with the exception of Bradshaw, had been expected to participate in Friday's session.
