Hakeem Nicks Injury: Giants WR Expected To Play

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New England Patriots aren't the only team dealing with injuries to their star offensive players, as New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered against the San Francisco 49ers that will keep him limited in practice, but he is expected to play in Super Bowl XLVI. According to ProFootballTalk.com, Nicks is expected to play in the game.

Per a league source, Nicks is expected to play. Though it's unclear whether his range of motion will be limited, the source was optimistic that Nicks will be "fine."

Regardless, Nicks wasn't "fine" last week, because he didn't practice at all.

Officially Nicks is listed as "questionable" right now for the game, but the belief is like Rob Gronkowski, he will play in the game on Sunday.
