Tom Brady Still Leads Super Bowl MVP Odds

Not much has happened to change things in the past week, and the updated Super Bowl XLVI MVP odds reflect that fact. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is still the big favorite, going off at 13/10, according to Bovada. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning's odds have actually gotten a little longer, as he's now 5/2 after opening at 9/4.

It's not hard to see why oddsmakers like Brady so much. His 39-touchdown, 5,235-yard season goes down in history as one of the greatest passing seasons of all time and he's trying to become the third quarterback to win four Super Bowls. Both Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana were named MVP when they won their fourth Super Bowls.

Generally speaking, though, the odds are very similar. Depending on Rob Gronkowski's health, Aaron Hernandez at 15/1 is a nice value, as is BenJarvus Green-Ellis at 22/1. Jason Pierre-Paul remains the top defensive player at 30/1.
