Read More: New England Patriots, New York Giants
Super Bowl XLVI takes place on Sunday, Feb. 5 in Indianapolis and as usual, people will be attending from all over the world. Last year's Super Bowl in Dallas was fraught with a number of awful travel conditions, but this year looks to be much more temperate.
According to Weather.com, Indianapolis is expected to be overcast on Friday, with showers expected on both Saturday and Sunday, with weekend temperatures . It shouldn't pose much of a problem for travelers and should be a non-factor in the rematch between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
The retractable roof at Lucas Oil Stadium makes for a spectacular sight, especially a favorite as an aerial view that both the team and television production teams love to show off, but with showers expected and a 40% chance of rain, it's unlikely it will be opened. If it is, it likely won't be for long.
