The most important question to ask yourself when planning your Super Bowl menu is: Do I have enough bacon involved here? Trick question. The answer is always "no." You cannot have enough bacon, ever. But this recipe will at least help up the quotient.
Ingredients:
-- Pound of bacon
-- 1 cup of mayo
-- 1 Cup of sour cream
-- Lettuce
-- Tomato
-- Green onion
-- Garlic powder
-- Baguette or Italian bread or whatever you think is delicious
Instructions:
Fry or bake the full pound of bacon. Let cool and crumble into pieces. In a bowl, combine the mayo and sour cream and tap in a tad bit (scientific measurement) of garlic powder. Spread on the bottom of a large casserole dish and then layer romaine, tomatoes, bacon and green onion, in that order. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve with toasted baguette or whatever you want.
