Madonna once made a name for herself for pushing the envelope. At 53 years old, she's clearly mellowed. How much? Well, she's at least promising to keep it clean during her Super Bowl XLVI halftime performance.

That's an obvious reference to Janet Jackson's so-called "wardrobe malfunction" during the halftime of XXXVIII. Coincidentally enough, that Super Bowl also included the New England Patriots.
Ever since then, halftime shows have taken on, shall we say, an "older" vibe. Prior to last year's performance that included the Black Eyed Peas, 53-year-old Prince had been the youngest performer. Among the acts were the Rolling Stones, The Who and Tom Petty.
This year's show will include some much younger faces to go along with Madonna. NickyiManaj, Cee Lo Green, M.I.A. and LMFAO will be joined by Cirque du Soleil. Madonna is set to perform such hits as "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer."
